Marketing · Local SEO

Found nearby – when someone is genuinely searching.

Your profile, reviews and location pages determine whether you appear on the map – or only in your own address bar.

Marketing · Local SEO

Three points where visibility is lost.

The profile is half filled in

Without categories, services and up-to-date photos, Google makes its best guess. Usually in favour of the business that's done it more carefully.

Reviews go unanswered

Leaving reviews unanswered makes you look absent. An honest reply is the cheapest way to build trust there is.

No page for the location

For the map, Google needs a page that matches your location and services. The home page alone rarely does the job.

Approach

Manual work in three places.

Local SEO is not a trick – it is upkeep: a complete profile, genuine reviews, pages for the areas your customers come from. I work through the three points one by one – and measure what moves.

Consistency matters: your address, phone number, opening hours and services must be identical everywhere. One discrepancy in a directory costs more trust than a new post can earn back.

  • Complete profile: categories, services, opening hours, photos, questions and answers
  • Collecting and responding to reviews – without incentives, as the rules require
  • Location pages for the areas your customers actually come from
  • Consistent details across directories so there are no contradictions
  • Monthly tracking: calls, route requests, profile clicks
  • Steady posts on your profile – regular, but without the noise
AI potential

AI could already be doing this work – exactly where, we find out on the call.

Listings, reviews, posts, search terms: much of this is routine work. Routines can be described – and then handed off.

How often is your profile updated when you have a full order book?

When did you last respond to a review – and how long ago was that?

What if new posts went live while you were on site?

No sales pitch. You get two or three places where the effort already pays off today – and an honest view of where it does not.

Result

What this means in practice.

Visible on the map

Anyone searching "electrician near me" sees you – with your hours, photos and a button to call.

Calls, not clicks

A complete profile leads to calls and requests for directions. Both can be counted, and both mean one more customer.

Transparent

The same five figures every month. You can see whether the work is making a difference – without anyone having to claim it is.

Frequently asked questions

Answered briefly.

Is a well-maintained Google profile enough?
For the map, it gets you halfway there. For regular search results, you also need pages that match your services and location.
How many reviews do I need?
Any number would be a guess. More important than the volume is that reviews come in regularly and are responded to – including the uncomfortable ones.
Can I manage the profile myself?
Yes, and that's the normal situation. I set it up and show you the four routine tasks that go with it.
How long does it take to appear at the top of the map?
Weeks to months, depending on competition in your area. A profile that was half-empty before moves faster than one that was already well maintained.
What about bought reviews?
I'd advise against it: it breaks the rules, and Google recognises patterns. A business with twenty genuine reviews comes across as more credible than one with two hundred bought ones.

I know both sides: the workshop floor and the office. I understand how a ten-person business works and how larger companies set up their processes. That's exactly what I draw on when bringing AI into your day-to-day.

What sets me apart from traditional IT consultants: I start with the processes not the tool. And I stay until it works.

The difference: Most AI projects fail not because of the technology, but because of the order things are done in. We work out which process brings in the money first – then we automate exactly that.
